 How to increase the hardness of the carton box packaging without tape

     The manufacturing size of carton packaging is the size of the undercut at the time of box making. The manufacturing dimension is based on the indentation line on the unfolded box blank.        In the manufacturing process of tape-free carton box packaging, there are single and double strips: single strip is a single-page molding box, generally used for products with small perimeter; double strip is also called two-page box, the perimeter of some products is so large that two pieces of box blanks are needed to put together one, but sometimes manufacturers use two pieces to put together a small size, and sometimes four pieces are used to use the remaining material cut during the production process. Compared to a one-page frame, a two-page frame has an extra joint, so there are some slight differences in the area calculation between the two.

       The manufacturing size of the product joint is determined by the number of corrugated layers and the level of production process. 35-40mm for single corrugated cardboard, 45-50mm for double corrugated cardboard and 50mm for triple corrugated cardboard.

       When calculating the unfolded area of a tape-free carton box package, the loss of filaments during the manufacturing process needs to be considered. The size of the filament is determined according to the number of layers of cardboard, and is generally 20-40mm.

1. Additives

       This method of strengthening carton packaging is based on two or more layers of core paper laminated together. The binder can be a simple cornstarch binder used to produce a strong core paper sandwiched between cross-linked, pressure-formed or conventional strength papers.

       4. Crosslinking

       In papermaking, crosslinking is the process of changing the orientation of the fibers. Usually the paper fibers are parallel to the vertical direction, so the paper fibers move horizontally around the tape free carton box packaging due to the stress caused by poor resistance direction. Crosslinking makes the mass of fibers 90 degrees to the longitudinal direction, the result of production is a large number of fibers, and the box edge perpendicular to the direction, so it can not increase the fiber and increase the stack strength.
